This video was shown as a part of of “God’s heart for the young” sermon. The sermon series was “God’s heart for justice.”
On Sundays, we divide the children into three groups, which are determined by the children’s ages. The youngest children, under age 3, go to the play area where two adults stay with them the entire church service.
The older children, ages 3-12, are flexibly divided into two groups by age and take part in the singing part of the main church service. Once the songs and prayers have finished, the two groups go to Sunday School time with their respective adults. At the end of Sunday School children help to pack up the materials
Our curriculum parallels the Sunday sermons each week, and includes follow up verses and discussion questions. This gives parents a Church-to-Home connection and helps create ongoing real life application throughout the week.
